About Me

I am currently a graduate student at the Dominican School of Philosophy & Theology in Berkeley, California, pursuing degrees in both philosophy and theology. I taught in Morocco on a Fulbright, occasionally write, run the publication Athwart, and am always lurking on Twitter. If you’re an editor, I would love to write for you; if you’re a writer, I would love if you wrote for me.

My research tends to explore religion, aesthetics, political philosophy, and the Maghreb. I am particularly inclined toward Aquinas, Plato, and Averroës, especially when listening to Captain Beefheart, Townes Van Zandt, or Abdelhadi Belkhayat.
